# 21900: DltPEId is invalid

Log Type: APPLICATION

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

The `DltPEId` value in your request is invalid. This error occurs when you send a DLT Principal Entity ID that does not match the required format or length for Twilio's Messaging APIs.

### Possible causes

* The `DltPEId` value contains invalid characters.
* The `DltPEId` value is too short or too long.
* The `DltPEId` value was entered with extra spaces or formatting characters.
* The `DltPEId` parameter does not match the DLT registration details for your sender or template.
* Your application is sending the wrong parameter value in the API request.

### Possible solutions

* Verify that the `DltPEId` value exactly matches the Principal Entity ID provided during your DLT registration.
* Remove any extra spaces, separators, or unsupported characters from the `DltPEId` value.
* Verify that your application is mapping the correct `DltPEId` to the correct sender and message template.
* Validate the request payload before you send it to Twilio.
* If you manage messaging compliance for traffic to India, review your registered sender, template, and entity information to confirm that all values match.
