# 322501: Internal Server Error

Log Type: TWILIO

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

Twilio returned an internal server error while processing a request to the OAuth applications token endpoint. This error indicates that Twilio could not complete the request because of an unexpected platform-side failure.

### Possible causes

* A temporary Twilio service issue affected the OAuth token endpoint
* An unexpected internal dependency failed while Twilio was processing the token request
* A transient platform error interrupted request handling before Twilio could return a successful response

### Possible solutions

* Retry the request after a short delay in case the failure was temporary
* Confirm that your request is correctly formed and that required authentication and token parameters are present
* Verify whether the error is consistent across repeated requests and capture the request details and response for troubleshooting
* If the problem continues, contact support and include the error code, timestamp, Account SID, and any relevant request identifiers
