# 60205: SMS is not supported by landline phone number

You have attempted to send the verification code to phone number that does not support SMS.

HTTP status: 403

### Possible causes

You have attempted to send the verification code to phone number that does not support SMS.

### Possible solutions

* Make sure the number you are sending a verification to is a valid mobile phone number
* Disable validating phone numbers using the Twilio API setting `SkipSmsToLandlines` on your Verification Service to `false`.
