# 60237: The given domain is on a deny list

Log Type: TWILIO

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

Twilio blocked the email address domain you provided because that domain is not allowed for this Verify flow. This error commonly appears when you use a public email domain for scenarios that require a business or custom domain.

### Possible causes

* You submitted an email address that uses a public domain such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or Outlook.
* Your Verify configuration or onboarding flow requires a custom business domain instead of a consumer email domain.
* The domain in the email address matches a domain that Twilio does not allow for that feature.

### Possible solutions

* Use an email address with a custom company-owned domain instead of a public email provider.
* Check the email address you submitted and confirm the domain is correct and spelled properly.
* Review your Verify integration and confirm you are sending the intended email address in the request.
* If you need help determining whether your use case supports the email you want to use, review the Verify documentation and your account configuration.
