# 60402: Mapper Error

Log Type: TWILIO

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

This error occurs when Verify cannot map an Entity into the expected format. In Verify, an Entity represents the user or identity being verified and can contain multiple Factors.

### Possible causes

* The Entity record returned by Verify is in an unexpected format.
* A related Factor record contains data that Verify cannot map correctly for the Entity.
* An existing Verify Push or Verify TOTP enrollment is no longer usable and needs to be recreated.
* The Entity `identity` used for the enrollment is not a stable external identifier in the expected format.

### Possible solutions

* Create a new Factor for the affected Entity and complete factor verification again.
* Delete the affected Factor and register the device or TOTP seed again if the existing enrollment is no longer usable.
* Verify that the Entity `identity` is immutable, between 8 and 64 characters, and contains only dash-separated alphanumeric characters.
* If the problem continues for the same user, delete the Entity and recreate it before creating a new Factor.
