# 60422: Contact not found

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

This error means your Verify request references a Contact that cannot be found.

### Possible causes

* The requested Contact is missing.
* The Contact in the request body is incorrect.
* The request points to a Contact that Twilio cannot match to an existing record.

### Possible solutions

* Check that the Contact in the request body is correct.
* Send the request again with the correct existing Contact.
* If you pass a Contact ID, verify that the value matches the Contact you want to use.
