# 62025: Interconnect: Invalid connection type

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

This error occurs when your Interconnect request includes a `type` value that Twilio does not accept. Use a supported Interconnect connection type when you create or update the connection.

### Possible causes

* The request included an unsupported value for the `type` parameter.
* The `type` value was misspelled.
* The `type` value used the wrong format or casing.
* The request used a connection type that does not match the Interconnect connection you want to provision.

### Possible solutions

* Set the `type` parameter to a supported value: `cloudconnect`, `crossconnect`, `mpls`, or `vpn`.
* Review the request payload for typos in the `type` value.
* Make sure the connection type matches the Interconnect option you are provisioning.
* Review the Interconnect setup documentation before you resubmit the request.
