# 62027: Interconnect: Extra MPLS parameter

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

This error occurs when you include an MPLS carrier SID in an Interconnect request for a connection type that does not use MPLS. Include an MPLS carrier SID only when the connection type is `mpls`.

### Possible causes

* The request includes an MPLS carrier SID together with a non-`mpls` connection type.
* The connection type in the request does not match the Interconnect connection you want to create or update.

### Possible solutions

* Remove the MPLS carrier SID if the request is not for an `mpls` connection.
* If you intend to create an `mpls` connection, set the connection type to `mpls` and provide a valid MPLS carrier SID.
* Review the connection type and MPLS carrier values in your request, then submit the request again.
