# Extended Call Duration

Extended Call Duration raises the maximum call duration on Elastic SIP Trunking calls from 4 hours to 24 hours, so your business can support conversations that last longer than 4 hours.

## Twilio Console

1. Open [Twilio Console](https://1console.twilio.com/) and go to [**Voice** > **Settings** > **General**](https://1console.twilio.com/go?to=/account/__account__/us1/voice/settings/general-settings).
2. Scroll to **24-Hour Maximum Call Duration** and turn it on.
3. Select **Save**.

## Legacy Console

1. Log in to the [legacy Console](https://console.twilio.com/) and go to [**Voice** > **Settings** > **General**](https://console.twilio.com/us1/develop/voice/settings/general).
2. Scroll to **24-Hour Maximum Call Duration** and select the **Disabled** toggle. The toggle now reads **Enabled**.
3. Select **Save**.

Your maximum call duration changes to 24 hours immediately.

> \[!NOTE]
>
> * If the 24-Hour Maximum Call Duration switch is disabled, the time limit is four hours.
> * Trial accounts are still limited to a maximum call length of 10 minutes, regardless of this setting.
